Beatrice
In our first glimpse of the world beyond the battlefields and royal chambers of Jeanne d'Arc, we meet the lovely Beatrice. One of the elven race, Beatrice speaks in thick, Shakespearean prose to her beloved -- a Therion. Although they agree that the French have pushed both of their races to the outskirts of their old homelands, they find themselves at the opposite ends of the battlefield.
Bedford
One of the five heroes who banished the demon king decades ago, Bedford now serves the young English king. His loyalty is absolute, to the point that we quickly learn that it has eclipsed his morality. Bedford sits at the center of many of the woes of the game, but his motives are good. What other characters will find themselves pushed beyond what they believe moral in order to win this long war?
