e-volve assessment reviews for QCF Automotive qualifications (4270-
4391)
As part of the review of the e-volve assessments for the Automotive
qualifications (4270-4391) we have now completed the re-grading of past
candidates to ensure they have not been disadvantaged as advised in the
January edition. Centres will receive notification by the end of March 2013
where a change to a candidate’s grade is applicable. The Walled Garden will
be updated and certificates issued as required.
The continued review of the Automotive e-volve banks has been well received
by those centres able to attend the review sessions held at City & Guilds and
we thank them for their time and support.
The review sessions highlighted the importance of centres teaching to the
assessment criteria of the unit and using the ‘Supporting information’ as an
additional support only.
