He raised us to fear a man, it's respect is what we were told;
The only thing we learned was how to be heartless and cold;
We were raised by a so-called man of God;
Now to me there is no bigger fraud.
                          
Now here is where I stand
On the view of respect for a man;

                          
You earn it by standing up
And not by being corrupt;
Taking care of your own
Not leaving them alone;
                          
You didn't earn it from me
So I don't owe you a damn thing;
