[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it to take down small tree in my court yard. Other than being a little top heavy the saw performed well above my expectations. Saw had plenty of power and was able to remove whole tree and the chain remained sharp. I wouldn't recommend trying what I did but for the occasional limb removal it would be great. I also have the blower and vacuum that works great. Highly recommend Worx tools

Pleasantly Surprised!

This is a one year follow up.  I've cut down 4 trees that were 8-12 inches across. This saw totally impressed me. I would have assumed that it would have come with a poor quality blade but it cut today just as well as it did when I first bought it.  It motors through everything I have used it on. The tensioner and oiler work well also.  I definitely recommend this little powerhouse. Great fir backyard cleanup and tree removal.

Rugged

I ordered this saw because a friend had one and it surprised me to no end I put mine to use as soon as i received it cutting 6 & 8 in limbs out of a big oak tree ti did as it was  suppose to I like the auto chain tightener be sure and read about it you have to loosen all the way to reset it most people are not doing this and then writing bad reviews on it read the instructions I'm 69 & have many electric saws in my life but this the best by way far

GREAT LIL SAW

I used only this pole saw (and some wedges and hammer) to trim around the powerlines, fell, limb, and buck two balsam fir trees that were 11.5in diameter and 50ft tall. It took longer than if I had used a larger saw, but it did the job fantastically. If I had a larger chain saw instead, I would have also needed a pole saw to do the trimming. This little beast got the job of two tools done. The chain stayed sharp and the saw never faltered. I loved how easy it was to use and it's lighter weight made it easier on my body than a full chain saw. I'm a Worx fan for life now! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Impressively powerful little saw

I've only used it once, fully extended, due to several rainy days in a row. 
Cut through a 4” limb in 10-12 seconds. The weight of the saw does a lot of the work. Once it's laying on top of the limb, hit the button and it's cutting. FAST. 
(The same limb would have taken me several minutes and a LOT of sweat to cut down with my old manual pole saw)
It is awkward when fully extended. Probably much easier to handle without the final 3' extension. 
Easy to attach to the pole. ONE hand-tightened screw secures it to the pole. 
ONE hand screw to check/adjust the chain. 
Bar/chain oil fill is right on top. 

I guess the only drawback so far is the inability to use it in wet conditions. 
I have close to 1/2 acre and I was able to reach most with a 50' extension cord.

I have had this saw for a few months and it's worked great. However today a branch i cut brought my saw down and the knob assembly that holds the chainsaw on the pole broke and i cant find replacement parts online for it. I would recommend it but with CAUTION.

Easy to use but.....

I just threw a Worx pole saw away, The plastic drive gear inside that drives the chain stripped out cutting a piece of oak, the metal gear that drives this gear made of plastic, chewed all the teeth off., and you can't order a new one from ANYWHERE, not even a generic brand either. I had the saw 1 year and 1 month. Worx gave a reply of "That part is no longer available" and that was it. They will not reply to anything else, and Marshall Tx walmart won't make it good either, and yes I still have my receipt. They said "Contact WORX". I will NEVER buy another WORX product.. The gear looks similar to these, and these won't fit. Done tried several and finally threw saw away

Cheap Saw

I would give this item an F minus. Fact it didn't work number I bought an extension cord still did not work., oil as required, didn't work. The item is not worth the frustration returning to Walmart today, November 2, 2023. I called the company three times before returning item to Walmart on November 2.
