Design

The balance  board was the perfect partner for my standup desk.  I love my standup desk but found standing without moving for extended periods affected by work performance.  The balance board is ideal for allowing you to stand comfortably and yet still have enough movement in order to use the desk in the standing period for extended periods.  The removable  rubber feet allowed me to get used to the balance board without any fear of leaning too far over.  They were easily removed so that the range of motion could be extended as needed.  The handy foot operated handle was perfect for relocating the balance board as needed under your desk.  The balance board is a great addition to any standup desk. Also easily supported my 400lb co-worker without issue.

Wow, a simple but great product to use while standing and working on my StarTech Sit-Stand Workstation.  The balance board has minimal assembly.  It definitely removes the issue of having locked knees while you work.

Balance Board

I currently use a standup desk mat (STSMATL) and this balance board.  I like both equally but for different reasons.  The balance board is terrific for times when I feel the need for a bit more activity then just standing comfortably.  While the movement does take a moment to get used to, it certianly isn't difficult to master quickly. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

Easy to master!

This works for me on many levels. It does take a small bit of assembly (4 Philips screws) but once done it is ready to rock. The learning curve is about a minute. I timed this on several coworkers who initially stepped on it timidly, but after learning the motion practically jumped on it every time thereafter (no, I don't recommend doing that) I'm a solid 250lbs and I find it well designed and balanced, and most of all, very comfortable to work on for 15-30 minute stretches. There is a handy hollow in the underside of the unit to stick your toe under to push or pull it out from under a desk. Like the balancing it takes a little while to get used to, but once you've got it you forget it was ever hard. The manual says you can go back and remove the feet later for more motion, I'm intrigued by this concept but I like the motion as it is.

Well Balanced

Been using a sit/stand desk for a couple years now, and never really paid attention to things like this.   When the chance came up to get one, I decided to give it a go.  Had it for about 10 days now and LOVE it!  

OK, build:  Solid.  Simple as that.  With the 4 corner pegs attached it limits the "wiggle" room, which I guess is good for starting out, but it felt TOO limiting to me, so...  they came off on day 2.  

The main "foot" doesn't slide on my tile floor at all when standing on the board.  But I use mine mainly in a carpeted room, and the board stays put.  

The greater tilt without the "training wheels" is fantastic.  

After a while I don't even think about the board, unless I'm standing at my desk and NOT on it!   I've even taken to using it under my desk when sitting since it keeps my lower legs moving. 

Overall:  Low impact, constant movement, sturdy and safe.   I used to have those days where I'd get some lower leg swelling from being stationary while in the middle of some tech project.   Since using this, sitting and standing, I've noticed a pronounced difference!

Great addition to my workspace

I have been in the AV/IT Integration space for over 30 years.  

I found this unit easy to setup and use with my Star Tech Sit-Stand Desktop Unit.  I am 6'4" tall and weigh approximate 275 lbs. which the unit accommodated me perfectly.  I enjoyed the gently movement range which particularly worked my core, calves and thighs.  This is a must for the home office or traditional office setting.  Very well designed and constructed.

Excellent Balance Board

This balance board is really helping users who have problem or temporary issues with their leg muscles. It is relieving the stress on their legs while working and helping them to do some kind of fun exercise. User is happy to have this product

Nice Balance Board

I really like this product and find it to be a great addition to my sit/stand workstation.   The board on a level surface with the feet attached still gives a fair amount of movement without being a total workout.  I like the gentle balance I get with the feet on.   I tried the unit with the feet off and for a person who is not the most co-ordinated I found that I was ok to stand on it  but to work and stand I just had too much movement for me.   Back on goes the feet and back to a comfortable working position for me.
The build of the board is really good and solid.   The material on top is like a really thin carpet, I would have preferred some form of anti fatigue matting but that is just me.
The design is good, the balance is good and I feel this is a nice addition to be used once in a while to my work environment.
