No, I was a bit surprised but there is no side storage on either side I'd the glass door in the middle.

No it does not open and the storage inside is as wide as the glass door you see.

No. The front door opens to a nice shelved storage cabinet. The sides are actuallly false fronts with nothing behind them. I was very pleased with this purchase.

It holds our 37 inch great with a little room on each side. It would hold your 46 inch but I think it would hang off the side a little. It is sturdy enough for sure. I love ours

No - they are for decoration only, there is only front cabinet opening (center). The panels that look like side doors is the decorative front for the back corners

I had a corner stand that I purchased previously from another retailer for my 47" Sony. Well it was open and all my components sat out in plain view and the wires were everywhere, just not a very clean setup. This corner TV stand however encloses everything and has a very nice finish. The assembly was a breeze, not like those particle board cabinets. It is designed so it unfolds and you have only to install a few screws (wood). Very cool and worth every penny, especially compared to the other stand I had purchased for about the same price.

The stand arrived in perfect condition with all the components enclosed.  It was amazingly easy to assemble and looks great!  I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a corner TV stand.
