We got this set as a New Year gift from one of our friends. It caught our eyes immediately. IT IS VERY BEAUTIFUL! And my 8yo son started building right away. It took him some time to finish, but he didn't feel bored and never complained. Not at all! And the final result is so amazing! I know some people would prefer an all-red dragon, but I appreciate all the other colors that make the dragon more vivid! I am now looking for a display case for it because it will be a great addition to our CNY celebration!

Bought this set for Chinese new years! 
Such a cute dragon, his eyes are so expressive beautiful colors as well. He is removable from the rock and will stand without it. His spine has some articulation along with the head jaw and legs. He does work as a limited play peice. Super cute and great way to celebrate chinese new years

Such a Cute Boy

I bought this set for myself since I was born in the Year of the Dragon and thought it would make a great addition to my ever expanding collection. Hopefully LEGO can make more like this set for each of the animals that are in the Chinese New Year Calendar and expand to other Calendars as well.

Wish There Were More Like This!

This dragon looks so impressive in person. The build took me a couple of hours and it was well worth it. The design of this set is so beautiful. Lego has outdone their annual Lunar New Year centerpiece once again.

I love this build sooooo much! I was born in the year of the dragon so was really excited when LEGO created these amazing sets. This build took me way longer than expected, but it was like a satisfying jigsaw puzzle... loved watching it come together!

Detailed Dragon

I think this is an amazing build.  Love the details.  No stickers!!!! Awesome display.  We build this with our child's with the build together feature and we finish it so fast!  Love this.

Fun build!

I have been in love with Chinese dragons since childhood; I own several leather journals with dragons, along with dragon art, so when I saw this auspicious dragon for the year of the dragon in 2024, I ordered right away! 

I built it over the course of two days; i'm guessing around 4 to 5 hours total. The first five bags or so go towards constructing the base, while the remaining bags contain the printed scale element and all the parts you'll need for your dragon. There are a lot of clever building techniques hidden under the scales, and the dragon does articulate to some degree. There was enough variety in the build that it didn't become repetitive despite making multiple copies of the same part. It looks absolutely fantastic as part of my New Year's display and I plan on keeping it up all year!

The build is very sturdy. Easy to follow directions.  I am still in the building process. I can not wait to finish!

Love this

I was a little bit skeptical when I bought it. It looks a lot better than the pictures even though the only thing that upset me is the color of the claws are not actually gold like the picture on the box.  The instructions can be shorter and time saving because some steps can be combined. I switch up the pearl to the dragon's mouth and It is perfect “for me at least” . In asian culture, pictures of Chinese dragons show a flaming pearl under their chin or in their claws is associated with “spiritual energy, wisdom, prosperity, power, immortality, thunder, or the moon often depicts a pair of dragons chasing or fighting over the flaming pearl.”

contacted Walmart upon immediate notification of delivery. Saw the photo to realize that it was not my front porch but someone else's back yard!! they told me to wait 48 hours before anything can be done!
