I use five Heimvision cameras around my house. Great cameras and great software. I decided to try the solar panel for the ones requiring a small ladder to remove to charge. Charges do last months, I believe it depends on how active the zone is. I bought one and installed it on my hardest to get to camera as a trial. it went from low to full charge in just a day and has been full since. What I liked, that I did not expect was it came with changeable rubber plugs on the solar charging cord. I bought it for the plug-in pictured. I was pleasantly surprised to learn I could use it on all my cameras. I have three HMD2 and two Freed 3. It has been in use for around a month and I plan on buying more.

Easy to install for sure, the quality is great and I'm so grateful to have caught a candid moment in the whole deal because I was able to see me falling with my kid and share it.... hilarious. The motion detection works well and makes us feel safer that we can see what's going on... hell we bought 3 of them!

I didnt start using this item. But, I have a few that I have used. They work great, even in cloudy days.

It does the job with no mishaps.

This is for outdoor installation with the Heim wireless battery cam, which I have reviewed elsewhere. The solar panel appears to work well and was easy to install. It comes with connector plugs for the camera to maintain it's weather resistance.

Video quality is excellent, night vision very clear, with solar panel no need to recharge but in cloudy days does not charge enough and will need to recharge camera.

This solar panel is great! We bought four of them and couldn’t be happier with them. We put off buying security cameras because we didn’t want the hassle of changing the batteries every few months. With the solar panels, the batteries are always fully charged! They install easily and connect seamlessly with the security cameras.

The Solar panel has kept my battery at 100%The Camera us easy to set up and install. If attaching to wood, recommend using a small drill bit to start holes. Screws that came with were hard to start. I actually use sheetrock screwsI actually have 3 camera/ solar panel set ups 2 in front yard, 1 in backyard to keep eye on dogs!

Purchased both the Solar Panel and the HeimVision Freed3 camera. Camera videos are very clear and the intercom works well. The solar panel keeps the camera battery fully charged which is a big plus since my camera placement required a 12 foot extension ladder for installation. Installed the camera using the magnet and the double sided tape. It has remained secure even with 50-60 mph wind gusts. I recommend this product combination and if I have the need for a second camera I will purchase both again.

I hooked this up to a Wyze Outdoor cam (the one that has built-in battery). It charges the camera GREAT on the first day. The camera went from 90% to 100% in about an hour of full sun. The length of the cable was useful and the end of it is micro-USB. I wish they would simply put that in the description. Of course the adapter/coupling does not fit the Wyze cam, so I used duct seal as an attempt to seal the point where the micro-USB plugs into the cam. probably won't hold up if Murphy's law comes into play. Will find out. But this solar panel apparently works.
