[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having this dehumidifier in just a small amount of time has already done wonders for my new home and I'm so thankful and relieved at the same time. We bought a home that had some humidity in the crawlspace. Floor was replaced, French drain system and pump was installed. But humidity levels were still high. Damages was fixed but the issue still persists. Professionals told us we needed ventilation, which we did and didn't work. We added the crawlspace fan. Still having a problem and then added circulation. Still having a problem. We didn't want to add a dehumidifier from the start and my husband really frowned upon it. He didn't want to have to go down there to empty the bucket. Since this one didn't have a bucket we got all excited about it. It has a hose and a pump on it to pump the water straight out. We placed the hose right in to the French drain system. It can also pump upwards if you want pump it in your sink. After just running this device for one day I was completely satisfied. When it was placed in service, humidity was at 80 percent and the artic app cat brought it to 64 in just one day. After a week we finally have it at the level we need. It feels so different in the crawlspace now. It's unbelievable. I didn't think I'd ever find something. The next thing I was worried about was how much electric will it use and how hard will it hurt my wallet. However, it's actually an energy saving device and energy star. It won't use up a lot of energy like they used to would. And it is designed to kick off and not run when it doesn't need to. So when you sent it, it won't go any lower and only runs when it needs. Now it also will reset one the event the power turns off. So it has some great creatures to it. A nice display screen and its built really well to. Very nice and durable. Also has a 1.6 gallon bucket if the drain system isn't an option. Has rollers on the bottom if you need to move it. The filter is washable and doesn't have to be replaced. Bottom line I'm very satisfied, this product has gave me such a huge relief and my husband to. It works just as described and has solved our humidity problems.

Prior to owning this Dehumidifier my basement alway had a mildew smell but that smell no longer exists. My favorite part of the Dehumidifier is this is that comes with a detachable hose so I can pump out the water rather than continuously dumping the bucket. Overall this is an awesome Dehumidifier and I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very well made dehumidifier from Artic King. It has a energy star appliance so it helps save electricity, which is great. The pump works great and it come with a hose. You can also use it's floor drain if wanted. It also has1.6 Gallon bucket when a drain is not available. It's on wheels so its easy to move around. It has a bright LED display for functions. I would definitely recommend this dehumidifier its from a well known brand its has quality parts, and its so simple to use. It should last a long time.

A perfect dehumidifier with pump.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was incredibly excited to use this for our shop as it's a fairly large space. Living in South Dakota the shop can get fairly hot and humid during the summer so I was hoping to use this to make it more tolerable during the especially humid weeks. When I received the dehumidifier it was packaged extremely well in the box. The instructions were very well laid out and easy to follow. It took me about 15 minutes to get it completely set up and running. There are quite a few different settings depending on what you are wanting to do with it. We have a drain nearby so we just connect the tube and let it drain continuously. You can also just set it up so it shuts off when it becomes full if you do not have the drain option. You can also choose how much humidity you prefer so it keeps it at that level. There is a pump that you can use to pump out the water as well. If you choose to not use the hose the humidifier will automatically shut off when it becomes full of water. The air filter is also washable which is great so you don't have to worry about replacements. I also found it's really handy that it is on wheels. It is a decently heavy unit so when I saw this I was very pleasantly surprised by the wheels. Overall this has worked really well for our large shop space. As long as we keep the doors closed it really helps cool the space by removing the humidity.

I have got to use in many different occasions. My bathroom recently had a leak and this dehumidifier worked perfectly, I also used after I shampooed my carpet, and I got it dried in no time. It has been saving me from a lot of damage. The best part, is the dehumidifier has wheels for easy usage. It has a pump for steady use or it will fill into the tank. I love how it will automatically shut off when full. I'm very happy with the settings on this as well like, comfort setting, pump setting, timer, turbo setting and continued use settings. The tank is so easy to pull out and dump and easily to replace. In the time of almost 2 months, the dehumidifier has been a blessing and I have had NO problems at all. It has really been a life saver. Oh and most of all it's fairly quiet!

Our downstairs bathroom tends to get very wet and stay humid for a long time after usage, it doesn't have a floor drain so we used the built-in pump and hose to pump the water into our bathtub or sink. We also like the convenience of the timer and humidity level setting features. It is also very easy to move around the house because of the casters; overall this is great to have in the house especially for preventing mold growing in the extra humid areas.

Powerful dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this dehumidifier to replace an older 35 pint unit and the difference in output is pretty impressive. We use the dehumidifier without the drain pump currently so we greatly appreciate that the bucket reservoir has a sturdy handle that we can use to lift and carry. The handle also makes it a bit easier to hold when you go to empty the bucket reservoir. One small issue we've had is the pump hose drop being finicky when we take the bucket out. I also would have appreciated a slightly clearer explanation of what settings were essential for operation - it took a little trial and error to get the best settings for what we wanted. It is also noticeably quieter than our past units - there is little to no rattling sounds - just the output of air. It has been working well to remove the dampness from our basement

Faster output

This dehumidifier works fine but the pump does nothing except puddle water all over the floor. I've tried everything I can think of but the pump does not work. It kicks on when reservoir is full then pours water on the floor. Their website claims: "The internal pump allows you to continuously drain water in an upward direction into a sink or out of a window for continuous operation and no need to empty the bucket." Well, it doesn't. Arctic King tech support was worthless.  I bought this for the convenience of the pump and now have to empty the bucket 365 times a year. And now it's too late to return to Walmart.
