Thank you for your inquiry. The serial number will be on a white bar code sticker on the battery itself. You will often see this same label on the outside of the box as well.

What is the serial number on this? The serial number will tell me when the battery was built, hence how much life it has remaining.

APC Schneider free battery recycling is still alive!  

It's a little harder to find now.  There's no return label provided in the box with your replacement batter.   But GOOGLE "APC schneider battery recycling" and the right webpage will be near the top.

I feel this is important because another reviewer expressed regret that he couldn't return his old battery for recycling.  He could have, he just didn't find the right path in Schneider-space.

It's possible to get a replacement battery for cheaper from other sources. It's also possible that these replacement batteries will not last nearly as long. Or they won't quite fit. I don't need that kind of aggravation. Get the OEM replacement and the peace of mind that comes with it. Oh, and the battery got her pretty quickly considering what it is.

No bells and whistles. No headache either.

Talk about quick by the time I ordered to the time I removed and installed the battery pack was less than a week.  Couldn't ask for anything better or more efficient!  Well done APC!

The current battery pack in my APC BX1300G had run out of juice, so I ordered this one which according to the APC web site was the correct battery pack.  It worked.  My BX1300G is back up and running as it should.

extremely easy to replace original battery with this new one.  It took no more than two minutes to replace without looking at the included instructions.  Slide the old battery out and slide the new one in, how simple.  It took more time to reconnect the power cords than to replace the battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a battery replacement for my BX-1300. Easy to remove and replace. Works fine. However, I had requested express delivery, but didn't receive it until several days later due to lack of stock. Express delivery should not have been a delivery option.

Great Battery, Shaky Delivery

Battery shows full charge but zero minutes of run time. 
The apc unit may be bad. 
One tv and wireless router on battery back up. 
Maybe getting a new unit in the future. 
The battery arrived on time and was packaged good. 
I would use this company again.

Fully charged replacement battery drains in seconds. Waiting for a replacement but if there is no response soon, will resort to a charge back on my credit card and look for another supplier.

I am using the return process (which was not bad, just wish I could have taken it to the store).  Anyways, dropped it off, have to wait 2+ weeks to get the battery.

It looks like this battery sat in a HOT warehouse for a year or more.  Never good for batteries.

Anyways, it arrived on time.  I opened it up, (my current battery lasts about 9 minutes, not 120, LOL), and I put it in.  Unfortunately, it registered as being completely empty.  3 Days of charging later, it was still empty.

I tried a few things I read online.  Nothing helped.  Cycled the UPS about 4-5 times in different ways.  Nada.

I will update this when the return is processed.
