The window replacement will not install in a screen door. The shade will operate with or without a screen door present.

You do have to open your screen door and go out on your step to raise and lower the shade. It takes an extra second - but so worth it. Make sure to install the window with the shade lip to the inside of the RV!

This window is amazing! Don't know why I didn't buy one sooner . Love how it is clear so you can see out of it. Our old window was frosted and you couldn't see anything! Plus the shade to block out the sun is awesome. The window fit great into the existing opening and we didn't have to modify anything.

Awesome Window!

Shade is slightly hard to pull and push up and down…excellent shade, absolute blackout with this product.

Much better than the factory frosted glass. If you have tinted windows,this really completes the look.

Looks Factory

I ordered this window with shade to replace my camper door window that was broken it fit just right in my forest river. I was able to remove the old window and install the replacement on my own with some duct tape to help hold it centered. Very simple to install with the directions. I also used a mineral spirits and a scraper to get the old sealant off and cleaned very well afterwards. I would suggest making sure you have a shim for under the window frame inside the door as you are setting the outside frame and glass. This allows you to center it easier so the sealant  around the frame is in contact with the door. That way you won't get leaking around the window in rain.

This replacement window looks and fits good. It is relatively easy to install. Just follow the instructions and use the tape to hold the window and frame in while it's being installed. I used some black duct tape to help hold the shade parts in the inside frame. The tape cannot be seen once everything is installed but it helps hold the two shade parts securely.

Looks Good

Easy enough to install. As other reviews stated, it's just barely smaller than the existing window but the fit seems snug enough. I can't get the top tight enough so I'm not sure it's water tight, and the handle of the blinds is warped so it doesn't block light out completely. You can tell it's a pretty cheap product but the idea of it versus the useless blurry stock window is what makes me like it. The dark tint is nice, but for some reason I pictured being able to open and close the blinds from the inside but wasn't thinking the screen door is in the way (my bad). Can't tell yet if this is made by Lippert or AP Products is a separate company, so not sure if the Lippert one would be of any better quality.

Entry Door Window Slim Shade

Instructions are somewhat lacking, there is a top and bottom to outside frame, although nothing shows it. I don't believe there is any way to install this without help. Nice product.

Nice, but confusing instructions

What we liked was the shade block's the light entering the RV thru this area.  But the blind pleats after just 4 days do not fold/retract like they should.  If you read other reviews, it was an easy install, within an hour But the two pieces of the pleated blind were a hassle to keep in place prior to installing.  So tape them in place or glue them.... We had a hassle with the delivery day (day's) it said 2 day delivery, ordered on Tuesday, it said Thursday delivery, then it changed to Friday, then Saturday,  we called Walmart 1:00PM, Fed-Ex Ground said it will arrive today/Saturday, waited another 6hrs. still no delivery. Called Sunday to ask, When?  Tuesday by the end of day, by now we are out camping, still no Thin Shade, had to ask a neighbor to look for package, nope not delivered Tuesday! Oh wow it arrived Wednesday, six days after the guaranteed delivery date. Our we happy with the "Thin Shade", kinda, we do have a second door in the RV, But not pleased enough to spend another $100.00 on a second Thin Shade for the second door!!  Good luck

Nice idea, but blind has issue's

The window is slightly smaller than the stock window I took out so it didn't match up quite as nice around the edges. The sealant used for the tinted window and smeared along the outside making it look unfinished. Over all tho we like having a window to see out of in the entry door and this serves that purpose.

Size and Craftsmanship Matter

Tge shade doesnt fit into the window frane!!!
