The Cisco ATA 191 Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA191-K9) converts traditional telephone, fax, and overhead paging communications equipment into IP devices for increased cost-effectiveness. Customers can access IP telephony applications by connecting their analog devices to Cisco analog telephone adapters. The Cisco ATA 191 analog telephone adapter is the optimum choice for customers that connect to enterprise networks, small offices, or the upcoming unified communications as a service from the cloud. It features two standard FXS ports that can be configured separately as two Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) registrations. Customers can protect and prolong their existing analog investment with the ATA 191, as well as smooth their transition to pure voice over IP in an economical and dependable manner.
