"I am an advanced to expert skier 185 lbs 6ft 66 yrs old what length and would this be a ski for me your thoughts? I have skied volkl ac30 170 seems like im turning more than I want to. AC 30 holds high speed but its a heavey ski. Can you compare them?"

Question by John on 3/22/2011 - 9:44 pm
    A:
"This ski has a light weight construction but its turning radius is smaller than the AC 30 at 14.6m. Both skis are very similar so if you like the AC30 this will be rally comfortable for you to use but with less weight."

    Q:
"I'm 5-8, 160lbs and a Advanced+ skier. I normally ski between a 163 and a 170. Would a 171 be too long in your opinion or is it ok to go longer with a round tailed ski?"
    1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Tom on 4/7/2011 - 1:51 pm
    A:
"For your weight height and skills the recommended size is in fact a 170, however this ski has a rockered tip, if you go up to the 171 it will be just perfect to compensate the early rise on the tip for this particular set of skis."

    Q:
"What is the difference between the Head iPeak 78 FLR Ski System and Head iPeak 78 PRO Ski System? Is the ski the same but the binding is different?"

Question by nick on 5/1/2011 - 12:39 am
    A:
"The bindings are actually the same. The difference is that the PRO version is a slightly stiffer ski. You might like this if you are an advanced skier or you like to ski particularly fast. "

    Q:
" i have been skiing the monster 70/170cm and love them for hard snow/icy cond.in the east. i like being able to move the binding forward as i am better able to stay centered. i would like a similar ski with more flotation for colorado. I am 47 yr old male,intermediate-advanced skill level. Would these fit the bill?"

Question by sjk on 8/7/2011 - 3:50 pm
    A:
"FLR is really good for floating above the snow, so this would be a good option for you. The 78 waist width that you are looking at is pretty good if you only go into the deep snow occasionally; in Colorado where there is often a lot of fresh snow, you may want something wider."

    Q:
"I'm 181cm and I weigh 75Kg, I wonder if I can use this product with 159 length to make small slaloms?"

Question by SajjadR on 3/1/2012 - 3:45 pm
    A:
"This ski is a little too wide and too soft for a good slaloms ski. You would definitely want something more stiff. Check out the Nordica Hot Rod Igniter Ski System This is going to be better for what you are looking for."
