We like the french doors because they take up less space when open. Having the refrigerator section at eye level is a real plus. Being counter depth, the storage space is shallow, which we like because we don't have to go rooting around in a deep refrigerator to find whatever may have been pushed to the back. It's fairly quiet, and it's doing a good job of holding the temperature that we've set.

If you're looking at this refrigerator I suspect it's because you need a refrigerator to fit into a small space. In this regard, LG has packed an amazing amount of usable interior space into such a small exterior space. It did this by putting a lot of space on the door shelves. We have found this useful. It provides ready access to all of the small stuff, leaving the main shelves for larger items. A great idea. The only downside on the space issue is that you need to be careful not to assume that the listed horizontal dimension is all you need. That's because the doors need some extra room at the front of the refrigerator so that the doors can completely open. So, either the refrigerator has to stick out a little, or you need another inch or so on each side to allow the door to fully open.
