DS18's G6.9Xi 9 6" x 9" 4-way coaxial speaker pair combines a paper cone woofer, 3" midrange, and dual Mylar tweeters for natural full-range response with low distortion. A naturally damped paper cone woofer minimizes unwanted resonances to deliver powerful low frequency response and high impact midbass. The durable rubber surround is securely stitched to cone to ensure a reliable bond even when exposed to high excursion in the extreme automotive environment. High frequencies are handled by 1-1/8" and 3/4" balanced drive Mylar tweeters that offers high efficiency, accuracy, and wide dispersion. The unique 3" midrange driver improves off-axis response to ensure that the vocal range is not compromised even when installed in less than optimal locations, such as a rear deck. With good efficiency and capable of handling up to 60 watts RMS the GEN-X6.9 will produce impressive output even when driven with modest power.
