Born in 1956 as Cappa, this young brand developed in Italy under the direction of Paolo Vettore, distinguishing itself with practical and technical products characterised by attention to detail. Italy, perfect as a cradle and starting point, soon proved to be a limitation for a brand with the potential and capacity to rise to the heights. And so in 1991, ten years after the brand was registered, Giuseppe Visenzi, former Motorcycle Champion and founder of the Givi brand, took over the company and the brand, transforming Cappa into Kappa. Following the name change, Kappa began to expand internationally, establishing a subsidiary in Montuel, France in 1995 and Olerdola, Barcelona, Spain in 1999. Since then, our desire to grow has never died out, driving our research and fueling our passion, determination and appetite to achieve the incredibly high standards of quality that every motorcyclist around the world deserves.
