The ONE Thing Challenge

The ONE Thing Challenge

I have taken the time over Christmas and the New Year to reflect. From that reflection, I have come down to the “One Thing Challenge”

I love the quote by Gary Keller. “What is the ONE thing you can do such that by doing it everything else will be easier or unnecessary?”

The idea of focusing on "the one thing" that will make everything else easier or unnecessary is often referred to as the "domino effect." This concept suggests that by identifying and prioritising the most impactful task or goal, other smaller tasks will either fall into place or become obsolete. It's a strategy that helps streamline efforts and maximise efficiency.

What ONE thing can you celebrate from 2023, I'd suggest reflecting on an accomplishment or milestone that brought you a sense of fulfilment or pride. This could be a personal achievement, a meaningful relationship, or a positive change in your life.

What ONE thing can you leave behind in 2023, consider shedding a habit, mindset, or situation that no longer serves your growth or well-being. It could be letting go of self-doubt, toxic relationships, or unproductive routines.

What ONE thing can you focus on in 2024, think about a specific area of your life that you want to prioritise for improvement or growth. This could be related to your career, relationships, health, personal development, or any other aspect that holds significance for you.

What ONE thing can you do to make you more capable in 2024, consider investing in learning and skill development. This could involve pursuing further education, seeking mentorship, or dedicating time to honing a particular skill set that will enhance your abilities and confidence.

Ultimately, these considerations are highly personal, and I encourage you to reflect on what truly matters to you as you navigate the new year.

In Summary:

What one thing will you celebrate from 2023?

What one thing will you leave in 2023?

What one thing will you focus on in 2024?

What one thing will I do to make me more capable in 2024?
