Affordable 2.5 GbE
Equipped with two native 2.5 GbE RJ45 LAN ports (backward compatible with 1G/100M), the TS-1655 allows you to upgrade network speeds from 1 Gigabit to 2.5 Gigabit using existing CAT5e cables.
Support for port aggregation and failover further addresses bandwidth- and reliability-intensive applications, including virtualisation, large file transfers, high-speed backup/restore and real-time applications.
QNAP also offers a range of managed/unmanaged 2.5 GbE/10 GbE switches to help organisations build high-speed, secure and scalable network environments within their budget.
M.2 slots for SSD caching
The TS-1655 is equipped with two M.2 PCIe 3.0 slots that allow NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSDs with 2280 form factors to be installed to boost NAS performance.
