NTA UGC NET E-certificate 2023
The National Testing Agency has released the NTA UGC NET Result in January 2024. All the aspirants across the country will be able to check the qualifying status using the Registration Number and Password.
It is noted that only those candidates who will qualify for the UGC NET exam will be eligible to receive the UGC NET E-certificate. Further, those candidates who will qualify for the position in the JRF, will be entitled to receive the JRF letter.

Steps to Download UGC NET e-certificate & JRF letter?
- Step I: Go to the UGC NET website-https://ugcnet.nta.nic.inedu
- Step II: On the website, click on the link “UGC NET e-certificate” and scroll down to the bottom and find important links.
- Step III: You will be redirected to the “Candidate login area” page.
- Step IV: Select the exam and enter the captcha code and proceed.
- Step V: You will be entered in a page where you can check and download your e-certificate and/or JRF award letter.
What's Next After UGC NET e-certificate & JRF letter
Those candidates who are able to achieve a qualifying status (or qualifying score/grade) should note that both the letters including Certificate of Lectureship (LS) and Certificate for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) both have different validities for its purposes.
Candidates qualified for JRF will be eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject, and also they will be eligible for assistant professor.
What is the Validity of UGC NET E-certificate?
As far as the validity of UGC NET E-Certificate/JRF letter is concerned, the Certificate for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) will be valid only for the 3 years post the date of the declaration of the result. However the Certificate of Lectureship has no such time limit and candidates who achieve the same can apply for a lectureship position any time after qualifying the UGC NET exam.
