Google has recently launched the updated version of its mobile operating system named as Android 5.0 (Android Lollipop) with various new features. One of the most incredible new feature of Android Lollipop is “Battery Saver” mode. It enables you to improve your cell phone battery life by reducing your device performance and limiting the background data. Battery Saver mode is useful for the time when your mobile phone’s battery is running out of charge and you are not able manage a charger for your mobile.

Step 1:

Usually in Android Lollipop the battery saver mode is turned off but whenever your battery running down to 15% a notification will be showed to enable the battery saver mode.

Step 2:

The easiest way to enable the battery mode is to swipe down all the way until you see the battery percentage.

Step 3:

Tab the battery icon

Step 4:

Click on the menu button (that steps three vertical dot icons) and click on battery saver.

Step 5:

Here you can set it to turn on automatically once your battery running to 5% or 15 % or you can manually switch it on.

Step 6:

As soon as the battery saver mode is enabled the color of the top and bottom bar will be changed to orange and when the charger is plugged on to the phone the top and bottom bar color will be automatically changed to the default color.
