Got this 4' vapor controlled basically it can be used in an explosion proof area there's not gonna be any sparks come off over it's sealed some LED 2 strips with a transformer on the back side won't you seal it up The Gasket's work really well There's accesses from the back and besides to add on what you can change these together which is what I plan to do I have 2 4 ft and 1. 2ft It'll be installed above my bench where I work I would recommend these to anybody that needs something for a vapor control atmosphere that has a good light output please make sure that you follow wall state national coach when installing this thank you

I've been converting all the lights in my garage to LED and this vapor tight light is an excellent fit for hanging over the part of the garage where I work on cars. No worries of a small spray ruining the light or worst case sparking and catching fire. I have this hanging over where I park my truck so I can see under the hood and not worry about the light getting splashed with oils, coolant, etc. This is a direct wire install and you'll need to supply your own wiring from your power source. I simply attached a cord and plugged it into the same switched outlets all my other lights use. Wiring is easy, it has push lock connectors for the black and white wires and a wire nut for the ground. Wiring takes less than 10 minutes. This also has hangers included that snap tightly on the back of the fixture and chains to hang (I used rope in my shop but it does have chain with it) The fixture is plastic, as well as the lens. The lens snaps on with ten snap clips. Easy on, easy off. It's sealed with a full length gasket. The LEDs are in twin strips of surface mount lights on a metal carrier. Current draw is 51 watts, providing 5800 lumens in the bright white 5000K color scale. Its a very nice light, plenty bright, I love the bright white color temp, not that yellowish glow other conventional lights have. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for new or replacement lighting for vapor sensitive locations.

I am review this Vapor tight 4 foot high output 5400 Lumens integrated LED white wraparound light 5000K daylight 1- 10V dimmable. This light is a high quality light and I am convinced that it is vapor tight. My first thought is that this light can not only be installed outside but would be great to be installed in a sauna room. We are installing this light in our cabin at our ranch. This cabin does have a window A/C unit but spends most of the time with the A/C not running and has high humidity. This light is perfect for this cabin. This light down have the option to hang from 2 small chains that are provide but I chose to mount this directly to the ceiling. The light has 5400 Lumens - that is holy cow a lot, 51 watts of LED at this price is amazing. We just love this light and will keep it in mind when we need a light this large. This light is very light weight and easy to manage. First you disconnect the lens, then mount the 2 small brackets. After that just snap the light base onto the brackets - I did the flush mount and this was an easy step. When the wiring is complete then just put the lens back on. The wires attach through the end of this light “No in the center”. The wires are tucked under a metal protective box that has to be removed to connect to your electricity source. This light is 4 feet in length and perfect for replacing your out dated florescent lights. The energy savings over incandescent bulbs is massive and this light even has a significant energy savings over florescent lights. This will replace 3 32-watt T8 fluorescent tubes. Here is the slam dunk on buying this light, it is rated to last 50,000 hours. I think about the savings over buying florescent replacement lights. Just the difficultly in disposing these old lights while this vapor tight light will be lasting for years. This light will probably outlive me and my Wife. This is also able to be wired to 110 or 220 volt electricity source. This light is dimmable. Installation is more difficult than normal. The only issue I had the small print of the instructions.

I got this light for my new trailer shop project. The light is perfect for my small area work shop. I like that the light is vapor tight because even though it'd inside I am comfortable installing it inside of the Trailer because it will be open most of the time it's used. I also like that the light cover is plastic and has a good locking clips which will work good when the trailer is moved. The 5400 Lumens is going to be bright enough for my 8x20 space. Good size and looks good too. More lights can be added

Which is what we did for one of two fixtures that decided to quit functioning properly after we had replaced the fluorescent tubes with LED’s; yes, I know that the old ballast is inefficient. It is lightweight, easy to install and maintenance free with no tubes to replace.
