Upgrade Kit If you buy a new graphics card and want to integrate it into your cooling loop, you won't need to buy a new graphics card cooler, which can get pretty expensive. Instead, you can save money with this Alphacool GPX Upgrade Kit. Simply unscrew the GPX cooler from the old cooling fins and mount it on the new cooling fins - that is, on the upgrade kit. For the best results in cooling performance, first remove the old thermal paste from the GPX cooler and apply a new thing layer between the GPX cooler and the new upgrade kit. Backplates for both cooler variants are included, but they differ significantly. The acetal version uses a classic backplate coated with fins for better cooling. Die Alphacool Eiswolf GPX-Pro ist der weltweit erste vorbefüllte Wasserkühler für Grafikkarten mit integrierter Pumpe. Alphacool setzt bei der Pumpe auf eine völlig neue Konstruktion um die Pumpengeräusche zu minimieren und die Performance zu erhöhen. Die saugende Pumpe ist geboren. Durch das saugende Prinzip entstehen im Wasser weniger Verwirbelungen für eine gleichmäßigere Strömung. Dadurch wird die Pumpe nahezu unhörbar. Ein Novum auf dem AiO Markt. Der Kühler kommt selbstverständlich mit einer Backplate daher welche nach der Montage direkt mit dem Küh­ler verbunden ist und so eine bessere Wärmeübertragung und Verteilung gewährleistet. Dadurch wird die Kühl­leistung signifikant gesteigert. Zusätzlich wird hierdurch auch die Optik verbessert, da das PCB der Grafikkarte von der Seite kaum noch zu sehen ist. Lediglich eine Öffnung für die Stromanschlüsse und SLI/CrossFire Connec­tor bleiben natürlich freistehend. Die Schläuche und Anschlüsse basieren ebenfalls auf klassischen Wasserkühlungskomponenten. Der Schlauch ist mit Knickschutzfedern ummantelt und hat die Größe 11/8mm. Die Anschlüsse setzen auf das klassische G1/4“ Gewinden und können daher einfach gegen andere Modelle oder Größen getauscht werden falls gewünscht. The Alphacool Eiswolf 120 GPX-Pro is the first prefilled water cooler for graphics cards with an integrated pump. Alphacool developed a completely new pump design to minimize the pump's volume and increase performance, and the suction pump was born. Through its suction principle, less turbulence is created in the water, allowing for a more even flow. This also makes the pump nearly inaudible - a first in the AIO market. Naturally, the cooler comes with a backplate that is directly attached to the cooler after installation, ensuring better heat transfer and distribution. This significantly improves the cooling performance. Additionally, it offers an aesthetic improvement in that the graphics card PCB is barely visible from the side. All that remains is a slight opening for the electrical connection and SLI/CrossFire Connector, of course. The hoses and connectors are also based on standard water cooling components. The hose is encased in anti-kink springs and comes in the 11/8mm size. The connectors have standard G1/4" threads and can therefore be exchanged for any other model or size desired. The two quick-release fasteners allow the cooler to fit easily into any cooling loop. If you are using the Alphacool Eisbaer CPU AIO water cooler, you can easily connect it with the Eiswolf 120 GPX-Pro using the quick-release fasteners. Using the Eisbaer gives you a redundant system, as you have two pumps in the loop. In the unlikely event that one pump fails, the other can still support the cooling loop. This is security at its highest level. The world-renowned manufacturer, Alphacool, offers the Eisblock GPX a very noble and high-quality full cover water cooler for your graphics card. The Eisblock GPX is available in two versions; An eye-catching version with a plexiglass window with RGB lighting to really show off or a simple but elegant version made of acetal. Both coolers are based on an identical copper heat sink, which is completely nickel-plated. The surface area where the water flows is very large, so that all components that give off heat are actively cooled with water which increases performance. The 35 fins of the cooler are only 0.6 mm thick and cover even large GPUs completely. The large cooling surface is also ideal for graphics cards with HBM memory. Backplates for both cooler variants are included, but they differ significantly. The acetal version uses a classic backplate coated with fins for better cooling. The plexi version of the Eisblock GPX water cooler uses a smooth backplate, which together with the cooler encloses the entire PCB. This makes the cooler and graphics card look like a single unit rather than a front and back plate. The SLI connector on Nvidia graphics cards is protected by a screwed cap, which can be removed if necessary. The optical highlight of the Plexi variant, besides the very large window, of course also the complete and integrated RGB lighting. This is compatible with ASUS Aurora Sync, Biostar VIVID LED DJ, Gigabyte RGB Fusion or MSI Mystic. But pay attention to the connection on your mainboard. With the new NexXxoS GPX coolers Alphacool is again a step ahead! Optimum performance and quality in a new cooling design for a great price! A new sophisticated injection system means the GPU is actively cooled. All other chips are sufficiently cooled by the passive cooler which is also in contact with the watercooling block for extra efficiency. The patented technology “Philips structure” from the Alpha NexXxoS XP in 2004, was further developed improving the base plate. The Fins and channel structure has been further refined. The fins are now 0.5 x 0.5 mm and 2.5 mm high. This enables a very large and rapid heat transfer from the copper to the coolant. SLI mode: The inlet and outlet are positioned of easy use in SLI mode. Up to four graphics cards can also be connected with the Alphacool GPX SLI connector.
