The 107 FS, the Red Devils, is the current iteration of the 107 Aero Squadron formed in 1917. The Red Devils are a Michigan Air National Guard squadron based at Selfridge ANGB and part of the 127 FW.

The A-10C never came off the production line… they are a conversion of all remaining A-10A’s intended to bring the jet into the precision munitions age by adding in embedded INS/GPS platform, SATCOM, Data Link capability, AGM-65 capability on more stations, and compatibility with two different targeting pods to self-designate and engage targets with LGB's.

269 is shown ready for an early campaign mission necessitating a pair of AIM-9M missiles on station 1 and an AN/ALQ-184 ECM Pod on station 11. Additionally, she carries a SUU-131 2.75" Rocket Pod on station 2, AGM-65D IR missiles on stations 3/9, GBU-12B/B's on stations 4/8, a AN/AAQ-28 Litening Pod on station 10, and an AN/ALQ-184 pod on station 11.

She is assigned to the 107 FS/DO, Maj William "Disco" Rundell who, along with members of the squadron LPA, greatly assisted in my research.

Any Fighter Studios print can be customized with different squadron marking, different store configurations, names on the nose or canopy rail. To get yours started, click Personalized Print for more information or click Email with questions.
