DT-51892 Bridge Kit

Application: 9T50, 10L80, and 10L90 Transmissions

DT-51892 consists of a special design four-arm bridge with three legs, a forcing screw, thrust bearing, washer, and nut. This universally adjustable tool is used with a hydraulic press to compress the 2-9 clutch piston spring in the 9T50 transmission and the various size clutch piston springs and piston dams in 10L80 and 10L90 transmissions.

The bridge holds the clutches in a compressed position, allowing the retaining rings to be either removed or installed by the technician. The orientation of the bridge’s four arms allows the tool to be used with three legs at 120° apart for the clutch springs or, if needed, two legs opposite each other at 180° for other service procedures such as bearing removal.
