This is a vintage c. 1962 stainless steel Omega Seamaster 300 CK 14755. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and an acrylic crystal. It has the original "flat foot" winding crown, and a screw down solid case back engraved with "SEAMASTER – CERTIFIED HIGH PRESSURE – WATERPROOF," and the Seamaster emblem in the center. Inside the engine-turned case back is stamped "OMEGA WATCH CO – FAB SUISSE – SWISS MADE – ACIER STAYBRITE – PATENT PENDING 14755-2 -SC," and a hallmark. The solid 39mm diameter three-body case, downturned full thick lugs, and revolving reeded bezel, are polished and brushed. The black convex bezel has a luminous white decompression time with Arabic numerals every ten minutes, and there is a luminous pip mounted in a raised triangle at the 60-minute position. This is an extremely rare bezel with the original Bakelite inner bezel ring (not an "Aldo" reproduction). The original black dial is in excellent condition, and the radium lume on the hands and dart hour indices has aged uniformly, with an even rich patina. There are white Arabic numerals at the quarter hours. The steel arrow hands include a broad arrow minute hand, and there is a white centered sweep second hand. It hand a power reserve of fifty hours at full wind, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Seamaster 300 CK 14755 has a mechanical automatic Omega caliber 552 movement. It's copper finished with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 24 jewels, an anti-shock device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a swan neck regulator, a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
