My first impression after installing this Spuhr Unimount is "meh". The included wedge is a joke: if you don't have a bubble level, even cheap one - go and get it. You most likely won't find this wedge useful like I did. It interferes with the windage cap on a side and just awkward to use. My another - and bigger complain - is that when tightening the scope tube, it does ROTATE the scope! Very slightly but it is happening. After installing 20+ scopes with different rings I never seen this! To overcome this I had to position the scope slightly rotated to the opposite direction and then fix it with the clamps. Overall I can see the build quality is excellent and I like the built-in bubble level, but knowing I'll be experiencing the issues I described, I would go for an alternative. $400 is a ton of money, even if you build an expensive set.
