This transducer is fairly easy to mount and tweak for peak performance. I have mine reading the bottom in our deepest lake (70 feet) at wot. 50 plus mph. The down imaging and side imaging are awesome. Now if we could just get boat manufacturers to make a place on the rear of the boat perfect for mounting transducers? I always have to build a chunk of wood so I can get the depth and angle correct so I don't have to drill a multitude of holes into the hull itself. Mount the wood, drill all the holes you need into it to adjust the tducer.
