This is my 3rd pair of these - 1st pair leaked & flaked. 2nd pair I sealed all seams with silicon as others have suggested - that worked, but now clear coat flaking off. Disappointing as the truck sits a lot, so it's not mileage. I'm going to seal these and plan on coating them with 2K clear, but will try my old pair first in case that's a problem. We'll see. The only issue I had was the plugs didn't want to fit or snap onto the new lighting that comes with them. I just used my old light plugs and installed the new lights in them issue resolved. Great look and overall good purchase.

Head lamp assembly issues
This is my first time getting new housing for my Ford F-150 FX2 truck, I bought this truck new and have been the only owner of it and never done such a change on it....so my 2 new housings came in a very well packaged box. The only 2 problems I had with the housing is that: 1) the turn signal light bulb holder fitting was not the same as the original, so I had to use the old turn signal light bulb holder and just use the new bulb that came with it. 2) both lens fogs up when it rains outside or if I use the lights and then park the vehicle and when its cool outside it seems that the temperature difference makes the clear light cover fog up. So now I need to figure out what can I do alter.the housing...don't really know what to do and I have not gone to any forums to check who else has ... F150 Head lamps
I purchased these head lamp covers because the covers on my 2006 F150 were oxidized. Once I put them on my truck, Wow, what a difference. I didn't realize the covers would make that much of a change to the overall appearance of my truck. The only issue is that you have to be careful with the lighting. You will have to readjust your lights after installation. Other than that, so far, the head lamp covers are A+.I purchased these head lamp covers because the covers on my 2006 F150 were oxidized.
