This part was advertised as "New". However, I do not believe this to be true because it didn't come in its original packaging. I was wrapped in saran wrap and bubble wrap and placed in a generic box. The wrapping used wasn't ESD protective so the micro circuits on the board could have been easily damaged by electrostatic discharges for anyone handling it. Upon further inspection, it appeared one of the micro circuits was replaced.
