Works Well, Good Upgrade
DDR3 is fairly cheap now if you're going with a slightly older platform for budgetary reasons or if you just have an older DDR3-based system, so it is well worth the upgrade to keep it relevant. An additional 8GB of RAM helps out if you're doing a lot of memory-intensive work like I do, and if you're upgrading, why not go with 1866MHz or the fastest DDR3 that your board supports? This Kingston RAM worked just fine for my purposes.DDR3 is fairly cheap now if you're going with a slightly older platform for budgetary reasons or if you just have an older DDR3-based system, so it is well worth the upgrade to keep it relevant.
