Remote Control for my boombox!
I'm a dance teacher, so the remote control for my boombox used in class gets a real workout three nights every week. Plus, it often gets knocked off the table, stuck somewhere in my costume, or dropped while we're dancing. The original (which I had almost 20 years!) had the front cover (the part that shows what each button is for) glued and reglued numerous time when it peeled off from being exposed to the sweat generated in a dance class, had the back case popped off several times when the remote was dropped, and finally, the cover wouldn't set correctly any longer and the whole remote just gave up the ghost! I feel so lucky that I was able to find a used/refurbished remote in great condition.
