Unexpected Z06 allocation at MSRP
Just thought I'd share my experience to maybe give others some hope. I've been on the Ciocca Z06 list since it opened. Wire completed just 13 minutes after they opened and initially was at 869 on the list, and had been patiently waiting (down to 671 with the highest accepted order being 269). I had my SR at my local dealer (Sid Dillon in Blair, NE) day before yesterday for some service, and was talking to the sales manager about the Eray (had potentially though about switching to one if I could get it sooner, but still really wanted the Z06), when I mentioned I was on Ciocca's Z06 list. He immediately asked if I wanted Z07 or exposed CF, and I said no, just a "regular" Z06. He then said he had an open allocation that could literally go in the next day as everyone else on his list was waiting for Z07. Needless to say, I jumped on it and my order was accepted yesterday. They are selling both Eray and Z06 at MSRP with trade-in of recent (C8/C7) Corvette, which I'd have done anyway since there's a big sales tax benefit in Nebraska. Sent my deposit refund request in to Ciocca this morning. So there is hope out there, I'd encourage those looking for one (or at a high number on other lists) to check with your local dealers as you never know what you might find.
Spec will be 2LZ HTC in Riptide blue with CF painted top & nacelles with black wheels. Interior is two-tone black w/sky cool gray. Only other options are front lift (must have for my driveway), stealth interior, and black exhaust tips.

This is what will happen during the cold weather coming up. Now the z07 stock car's adm starts dropping. It's not too far to see the MSRP base or Z07 with only 10-15k adm.
Good Story, congrats!

Z07 and non Z07 are still two totally different cars basically at this point in terms of how prices will move.

Agree, but the Z07 market cooled down as well. Do a little bit of research and you will find your 3lz Z07 stock car with 20k or less ADM. After only 3 phone calls I found my Z07 with the 70th pack with a small amount of adm. Planty of the dealer on facebook is trying to move their z07 now. Good Luck.

Thanks everyone, I'm really excited about it! Not as excited to get rid of my 70th Stingray or my 94 ZR-1, but to get the Z06, I'll make that sacrifice.
Yeah, my dealer was surprised that it went through, he was concerned the color would be constrained. The only thing that was constrained on my options was the clear engine cover, and I can add that later.

Congratulations. I searched the country for small dealers with allocations and landed one in NY at MSRP. I have a build order in and waiting on their allocations to come through. I was into the 4000 numbers at Ciocca so took the $2K refund back and did not give them the other $3K. I would have bought another Corvette there as I had purchased three previously.

I definitely agree. I made the offer almost in jest and was shocked they took it. I assumed they wanted way more than I was willing to pay. Especially considering my offer was 40k under their current asking.

The Z07 constraints are the same reason I was able to get my Z06 so early at MM, despite starting out at #383 on their list. Apparently there were over 100 people ahead of me waiting on the Z07 option.

Congrats EvanZR1!
Your story inspired me to call around my area and to my surprise I found out my local dealership had an allocation available!
Unreal, I never get this lucky!
I emailed my build and followed up with a visit to the dealership and I’m now at status 2000.
I have visited this dealership 2 or 3 times in the last couple of years and the sales guys have always BS’d me around. A friend who just ordered his 3rd C8 there (Eray today) gave me the Sales Manager’s contact info and after a brief phone conversation, he told me he had an allocation available that I could have today. They were going to order a dealer stock car because those on their list were holding out due to constraints.
If anyone wants a Z06 at MSRP, PM me and I will give you the contact info and dealership.
My build is 2LZ, HTC, AO with carbon flash roof, nacelles, mirrors, and rear spoiler. 2 tone natural and black interior, GT2 seats, stealth interior, CC brakes with orange calipers, satin graphite wheels, and black exhaust tips.
I wanted CF level 1 interior and carbon flash painted ground effects but those were on constraint. Not a deal breaker at all for me.

I am just blown away by the z07 adm's. In my 38 years of owning corvettes, I could never understand the wanting of the z07 option. It is not very good for street use as the tires kick up every spec of sand they can, the ceramics brakes get very expensive for serious track use, the aero really doesn't matter unless you are going into a corner at 150 mph, not to mention I really do not want to going 150+ WITHOUT FULL CAGE/FIRE SUPRESSION, in other words a tracked prepped car. Definity not my money so whatever floats your boat is a good thing.
