Simple, functional, silence
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned this for over a month now. Very satisfied. I was little skeptical about this brand. But it’s size fits perfectly in my space. Simple design and silence all time due to no water filter and no ice maker. I don’t really need those anyways.

perfect for what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fridge was perfect for what I needed..always had the fridge on top and freezer on bottom, and NO icemaker--not an easy thing to find w/o icemaker, but wanted the French doors on top and stainless..clicked "counter depth" just out of curiously, and trying to downsize things size wise and open up the kitchen in other ways also, the Counter Depth is great..the freezer is French doors also and love the crispers in the freezer, seems very organized and will not be as overstocked as before, I did have to remove one of the crispers for larger frozen pizzas to fit and stack, still no big deal..may not suit everyone, the fridge does not have a lot of options shelf wise, the gallon of milk only fits on bottom shelf and a 12-pack of cokes fits to the left or right side and the door able to close, have to buy a new gallon tea pitcher bc ever so slightly to tall and will not fit on the shelf with the gallon of milk, but no biggie..it looks great, is quiet as a mouse, even the delivery guys were eyeballing it, they had not seen one like this and they thought it looked great..the stainless on the front doors are not fingerprint friendly, but hey, just use the handles..Love it..and the price, got a Pre-Black Friday price and was around 40% off regular price, so loved that, too..

Great fridge for a small family!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a family that needs ample amount of food storage in the fridge/ freezer then this is not the fridge for you. Having said that, this is one of the better fridges that I have owned. Its sleek, very modern looking and compartmentalized. It has the advantages of a french door but beats the disadvantages by separating the freezer into smaller manageable sections rather than having to dump food on top of each other. The depth is slightly smaller than regular counter depth (which is why I bought it in the first place). The fridge section is a little squeezed but the added advantage is you will not be accumulating food for months in the deep end. We get a lot of compliments and we have recommended it to many friends. For the price, you can't beat the functionality and the dimensions of this fridge. And as a reminder, always buy a 5 year warranty on any fridge, we had to replace one after 4 years because of lack of one.

This was a nice surprise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For years our family has avoided buying unknown brands for appliances. We have always bought from brands such as Whirpool, GE, Kenmore, and even Frigidaire. Yet, it seems the quality and reliable of the products have declined dramatic in these past years. Our prior refrigerator gave up on us within 5 years and even at that we already had if fixed thinking it would last longer. We came across this particular refrigerator as a recommendation, while looking at other refrigerator on the Best Buy website. At the time it was on sale for a very low price. After doing some research and reading reviews, it felt that it was a good buy. So far I am impressed with the quality and design of the product. The layout and sections, didn't sacrifice the space. It does give that luxe vibe without break the bank. I saw the price of it now and I was glad I bought it when it was first sold with a discount. Even with the sale price now, I still got it cheaper and have no regrets. Even at the current is still a good buy. If you are looking for a no frills four door fridge for a practical price. This would be the one.

Quite Possibly Our Best Choice in Years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had an old freezer top fridge with classic big bottom door, small top door. For five years we waited. Five years of kneeling to see what is in the back on the bottom shelf. Five years of not being able to walk through the kitchen if someone had the door open. It was painful, but we vowed not to exchange this one for something else we didn't like. We took our time. We used other peoples fridges to see how we liked them. We decided it had to be counter depth, freezer on the bottom (no drawer), ice machine not mandatory, stainless steel. The lowest prices for what we sort-of wanted came in at two grand minimum. It would have to wait. Then we found this refrigerator. Best Buy was selling it. There may have been a unicorn nearby. The quality is decent. It's simple, like a commercial low-boy, with a basic build. It looks good. It has changed the dynamic in our kitchen, and we throw away about 30% less food/biology experiments.

Really nice fridge for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I were skeptical about this fridge being a lesser known brand for this tier of fridge, but we needed a counter depth fridge to fit the space in our kitchen better. We have been going on 4 months now with this fridge and we have not had any issue at all with the fridge as far a mechanical/electrical. It has been functioning perfectly. The door configuration is different with it being a Quad Door. I actually like it, the bins are nice in the freezer compartment and it makes it easier to organize in comparison with a chest freezer where everything is sitting on top of one another. The spaciousness is obviously not the best overall, but I would say I am impressed with it. I think they designed it well to work with the space. It holds more than I thought it would. In case you are worried about Gallon jugs not being able to fit -- they fit just fine. I would say this fridge works great for 2 people in a household. It might can work for a family of 3 or 4, but space would be tight. However, like I mentioned before, I do think it is more spacious than what I expected for a 16.4 cu ft fridge. I think this a great fridge for the price. We got it at $799.99, which is an excellent price for a counter depth when compared to others. This fridge feels High Quality. So if you are skeptical because of the brand and door configuration, hopefully this gives you an idea of what to expect. Just keep it mind this does not have an Ice Maker or water from the door. Its pretty basic.

This really quite nice
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just had this delivered and I am quite pleased. There are a few things to adjust to since this is a small refrigerator but nothing worth reducing the stars, First, it is sleek and the closest to real counter depth I could find for my home .I have a small kitchen and this fits well and looks very nice. I love that and managed to save 8 inches of floor space in my kitchen. Having said that, it is 16.5 cubic feet so you lose some inside space. It is perfect eye level so that you see everything in your refrigerator and coming from a top freezer I really appreciate a fridge at eye level. You will have to open both doors to get at your crisper drawers. You will have to make sure that you have closed the doors as they do not soft close on their own and there is not a warning sound if you have not closed the doors. You do not have a cheese/meat drawer or a specific spot for butter or eggs. I have seen pictures showing that a gallon of milk fits but I don not buy plastic gallons. I purchase milk in glass half gallon bottles which do not fit on the shelf but do fit nicely on the doors. I can honestly assure you that the stainless steel finish is NOT fingerprint resistant. Having said all this, it is a fine refrigerator and fits well in my space. It is a keeper.

Fits the need and the space
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were replacing a 50 year old built in refrigerator, and the Haier was one of very few products on the market with an appropriate width, depth and height. None of the local appliance stores had this model on the floor, so we took the risk of buying based on the on-line description. We now have it for two days, and our initial impression is very favorable. The one weakness (so 4 stars and not 5) is that the shelving is relatively fixed, and certain things we generally buy (such as a 64 oz. bottle of juice) cannot fit. The problem is solved by buying 48 oz. bottles instead. There were a number of unusual issues in removing our old refrigerator, which triggered a lot of communication back and forth with Best Buy; the Geek Squad Customer Service people were first rate in being concerned, being helpful, and ultimately getting everything taken care of.

Q: QuestionAccording to the inner dimensions of the freezer, as listed by Haier in one of the answers, a standard frozen pizza box (approximately 12.5" sq x 1".) would not fit, not even at an angle. Is this so?
Asked by PieLover.
- A:Answer You can, these folks just need a little creative thinking> All you have to do is flip the top try over and reinsert it on the next shelf bracket up... ta-da, you can now stand your pizzas on end. If you prefer, you can even just remove the top tray altogether, and slide your cardboard pizza box in horizontally, just setting it on the shelf brackets! Gotta think outside the pizza box.

Q: QuestionWhat is the depth with the door open?
Asked by sherry.
- A:Answer With the door fully open, it's 42" into the room. We have it about 3" from the wall. Be sure to measure your overhead twice. It is taller than our last (non-counter-depth) fridge.

Q: QuestionI have a 36 inch wide opening for my refrigerator. One side is met with counter but the other side is enclosed by a wall. Will this fit in the space I have and be able to open comfortably enough for normal usage?
Asked by MelissaM.
- A:Answer Hello MelissaM - This model is 32.75 inches wide. If there is a wall or cabinet preventing the door from opening all the way, the side with the obstruction will require 12" clearance. Crispers can be opened all the way when the doors are at 90 degrees. To remove crispers, doors must be fully opened. - TREY@HAIER

Q: QuestionIs this a refrigerator on the top and a freezer on the bottom? or does this SIZE come in a french door configuration? I do not want an ice maker, but I do want a freezer on the bottom (the photo of the fridge with the doors open shows ice cream....).
Asked by notasamsungfan.
- A:Answer The freezer is on the bottom (bottom 2 doors). The refrigerator is on top (top 2 doors). Very similar to a typical French door refrigerator.
