WORST. PURCHASE. EVER.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I genuinely hate this monitor. I don't even know why this is being sold as a monitor when it's actually a mirror. This thing is so reflective that no matter where I put my lights - there will always be reflections. I did a ton of research on how to properly set up lighting in an office and to eliminate reflections. I know what I'm doing. 99% of the people who buy this will not go to the lengths I have in order to minimize the reflections. Just look at the image attached. It's a mirror!! Not a monitor. Working on this monitor at night is downright painful and gives me a headache every time. My eyes feel so tired when I go to bed. I can't get any work done. I have been trying to make it work for so long... I've even put a black backdrop behind me to make sure that the screen sees nothing but pure black. But obviously I have to be in front of the monitor. And if there is ANY light ANYWHERE in the room, my shoulders will catch that light obviously and this monitor will reflect even the slightest ambience light making it so hard to look at it. Of course when it's turned on the reflections are reduced a little but still very far from anything useable. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and do not buy this piece of crap. I NEVER had this issue with my iMac's monitor!

Best Monitor Ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not buy this monitor for gaming as most of the reviews that I read prior to my purchase. When I picked it up I thought that I had made a big mistake, this thing is big. Once setup and I got use to it I absolutely love it. Dell makes a solid product, well built and it looks great.

Split, flat, or curved?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A few of my co-workers use 2 screens for productivity which I tried and didn't care for, another uses a 32" TV to save money but the resolution wasn't comfortable on my eyes with CAD, email, spreadsheet, Word, and PDF editing programs I use daily. My next debate was flat versus curved. I knew 32-34 inch was the size I wanted but had never worked for any long period of time with a curved screen. I'm glad I selected this Dell curved monitor for my daily Office tasks. The curved screen is very comfortable, the 3440x1440 resolution is crisp and clear, and multitasking is a snap with the presets.

Best Monitor Purchase in Years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this 34" monitor as an upgrade from a Dell 30" monitor which I truly loved. Out of the box, the 34" is massive but is sleek enough to be a work of art. The resolution doesn't take any getting used to and the lack of bezel in the center (I'm looking at you, dual monitors) is a welcomed addition. I suspect this is in part due to the curve of the screen which is a nice touch. I have compared the curve to the 2015 version and prefer this version. While I know this isn't a gaming monitor, I have not had any issues with the few games I have run. FPS, RTS, MMOs, they all look great on this monitor. Just make sure you have enough horsepower to power this monster. There is noticeable light bleed in the corners but apparently, all of the monitors in this category have some. light bleed. It's not bad enough to return as I am not bothered by it, but Dells 3 year warranty makes it so I can return it at any point. If I could do it all over again, I would not hesitate to purchase this monitor. If you are looking to get a great monitor at a decent price, this should be your pick.

Good office monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty good value for anyone who needs maximum desktop space from only 1 monitor. My work laptop only has 1 HDMI out so this is perfect. - You can very easily setup 2 or 3 decent windows for work. - Only outputting at 50hz though so not sure if its a graphics problem. - Watched some 1440p widescreen youtube trailers. Looks pretty good, probably needs to be calibrated outta the box. - This model is more curved then the model before it which helps you keep everything in view. Overall 9/10 Would buy again!

Outstanding
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 for work and I am 100% more efficient with these monitors because not only can I view 4 documents at a time but they are full size documents, and when designing with Cad the picture is clearer and I have so much more room to work on the screen/s!! Best purchase I have made in a while!!

Awesome UW monitor!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own this monitor for almost a year now. I bought it for multiple display setup ( two Dell UP2716D monitors & this monitor) in my tiny (& messy home office, lol) work, photo editing, & entertainment as well. Plenty of work space due to the UW screen, great resolution, color is really good out of the box (I calibrated it though). The two cons are 1.) tiny bleed on the lower side of the screen while the two UP2716D's have zero bleed. 2.) calibrating it isn't as good as the UP2716D. But it's no big deal, minor cons against many pros.

Great monitor for multitasking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were looking at getting a 27" monitor from the Apple Store for our law office, but over $1000 seemed pricey for what we needed. This monitor is perfect - we can view 4 documents side-by-side, and the picture quality is tremendous at a fraction of the cost. Very esthetically pleasing as well!

Q: QuestionI am interest in buying a 34 inched curved monitor, resolution 3440/1440 or higher. What is the best company monitors to buy from? I am going to use it for watching movies, reading e-mails, doing spreadsheets and worddocuments. I am not going to use it f
Asked by john.
- A:Answer I would say the Dell 34 curved monitor is your best choice! I use 2 at work, and movies at times and the quality is superior, I would recommend using alternate speakers for sound, the built in speakers are not great not bad but not recommended for movies!!

Q: QuestionIs this monitor 4k and how well would it work for editing high quality videos?
Asked by Adonis.
- A:Answer It is not 4k. It works great for video editing. The extra screen space and curved design make it even better. But you will not be able to see a 4k resolution with this monitor.
