- A: AnswerI use this drive on a MacBook Pro 16" (2019) with touch bar. The computer has USB-C ports, but the USB-C cable did not work with the drive. Using two ports did not work either. I had to use a USB hub to make the drive work. I use the USB-A cable from the drive to the USB hub, then the hub into a USB-C port on computer with an adapter. Not a good solution, but the only way I could get it to work.

- A: AnswerYou need a video app on computer that can play dvds. I’m sure default dvd app that comes with OS should be able to play it. Try opening the app and having in running while you install dvd.

Asus quality
Works just fine for what I use it for but what I found odd is the way they positioned the Asus logo on it, If you sit the drive on a desk with the cable out the back as per normal, the logo is sideways but if you stick it to the side of the pc case like I did, it's perfect. Also happens to be just the right amount of usb c length cable to reach around to the back of my pc.
