Top talent tips off

The Arkansas Wings (red) and Boo Williams basketball teams battle it out on the first day of Peach Jam at Riverview Park Activities Center in North Augusta. The nation's top high school basketball talent is participating in the annual Nike Peach Jam Invitational. Competitors include 24 Nike travel teams and a 16-and-under division of premier teams. Game times begin at 9 a.m. through Tuesday, and the last tip-off is at 8:30 p.m. Games begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, and the final championship game tips off at 8 p.m. Admission is $5 per session.
