DESCRIPTION:
The Highcom Armor 4S17 Side Plates are an NIJ 0101.06 Certified, DEA Special Threat Compliant Level 4 Standalone Plate that offers armor piercing protection at an affordable cost. 
These plates are engineered with a Ceramic Strike Face and a Polyethelene backer. 
The 4S17 Side Plates come in a range of sizes, 6x6, 5x7, 5x8 and 6x8. 
 
FAQ: "What's the difference between these and RMA 1155 Side Plates?"
These plates are thinner and offer better protection (multi-hit capabilities and lower backface deformation) as compared to our lower cost RMA 1155 Side Plates. 
The higher cost of these plates is attributed to some higher end materials used, which translates to better performance.
