I’ve always had Otterbox cases for my iPhones and usually go for the Defender or the Commuter to protect my phone. I could not find a Commuter for my iPhone 14 and I didn’t want to spend the £70+ for the Defender. I decided to go for this one purely based on aesthetics and cost, and thought it would give me better protection than a cheap brand for the money. It is a very smooth feeling case on the back and tends to slip easily, the sides are also very smooth. I imagined it would be more of a silicone feel.
Although the colours are very nice, and I haven’t dropped my phone yet to test if it protects well, I think I could have purchased a cheaper case from a lesser brand and had the same outcome. I wish I’d spent the money either on a Defender or just bought some cheaper cases. Lesson learnt.
