Amazing quality lights that are not only super bright with all colours but simply just work. No need for a controller or hub that others need. I have over 30 LifX lights, had to warranty replace one (which was a very straight forward, quick and easy process. A+ support) with Google Home (Yes, I realize the irony of buying off Amazon) but also have tried with Alexa with a similar positive experience.

Only connection issues I've seen is with people using multiple lights and crappy low grade wireless or low-grade internet connection. You also have to kinda commit yourself to using Alexa or Google... Simply using the app to control the lights can be a pain. No dimmer switches or controls like you see with Hue lights. Also more integration with other smart home applications would be nice. I have IFTTT and Home Assistant running which is brilliant and lets me integrate with everything but your "normal" non tech nerd would probably like more ways of controlling everything.

Overall, excellent quality lights for someone who just wants a few smart lights or the crazy people who want their whole house decked out in smart lights and have the know-how to set up integration with everything else.
