- Kann Stapel scannen
- Sehr schnell nach meinem Empfinden
- Vielfältige Optionen, z.B. leere Seiten automatisch löschen, man kann das Gescannte zunächst anschauen und korrigieren, bevor es als PDF umgewandelt wird (fehlende Seiten nachträglich hinzufügen, falsche Scans ersetzen, einzelne Seiten in Farbe nochmals scannen)

Contra:
- Wie schon von anderen geschrieben, die Einarbeitung in den Scanner ist SEHR zeitintensiv und in keinster Weise intuitiv.
- Allein der Anmeldevorgang und Download der relevanten Programme dauert mindestens eine Stunde, den Umgang mit dem Scanner zu erlernen (durch Versuch und Irrtum, die Anleitung ist mäßig hilfreich) hat mich nochmals so 4-5 Stunden gekostet. Das Scanmenü ist mir immer noch schleierhaft, aber ich schaffe es jetzt mit der Alaris Software zu scannen. (Ich bin eigentlich nicht ungeschickt oder ängstlich im Umgang mit technischen Geräten.)
- Es werden öfter mal Seiten nicht richtig gescannt. Als Beispiel, Resultat meines ersten Versuchs (ein Stapel 46 Seiten): 2 fehlende Seiten, 3 mal Papierstau produziert (es waren keine zerfledderten Blätter, ganz normaler Zustand), einmal davon so, dass das Blatt fast zerriss beim Rauszerren (Abbruch-Taste nutzlos).
- Das Gute am Schlechten, man kann nach Unterbrechung weitere Seiten an das gleiche Dokument anhängen, aber es kostet doch auch Zeit und vor allem man muss Seite für Seite durchgehen um zu sehen, ob alles gescannt wurde!

Fazit: Für private Zwecke (Unterlagen digitalisieren, bei denen man nicht weiß, ob man sie doch mal noch braucht, die aber prinzipiell nicht soo wichtig sind) ist der Scanner okay. Aber zu viel erwarten sollte man nicht!

I really like this handy and reasonably small scanner for when I travel. I seldom need a printer when I’m on the go, and don’t really want messy inks and toner to mess with while traveling, so this scanner is well suited to my needs. Alaris makes quite a few scanners which are much more expensive, larger, and more complicated (though not overly difficult). This E1025 more than adequately takes care of my minimal needs, and then some, without taking up much space.

things right off the bat; i had to register it before i could download the driver... hmm.. they got my info.... that should be optional... the manual and user guide is also downloaded- the unit is impossible to use without reading the manual because there are no labels that indicate what the optional button are "up, down, play, cancel and off... up and down do what? not easy to use without reading... i tried 3 times to scan 5 pages and the scanner feed took 2 pages at a time.... and there is something missing or i just was unable to find it....i have not been able to figure out how to scan 1 one page without the blank back side of the sheet being scanned... a four page scan is 8 pages
