Technisch betrachtet handelt es sich um einen USB-C (USB3) zu SATA Bridge. Das Metallgehäuse wird mit USB-C und USB-A Kabel geliefert und ist daher zu praktisch jedem Computer kompatibel. Vorder- und Rückseite sind mit einer Klappe verschlossen. An der Front befindet sich einen Aktivitäts LED und das Fach für die Caddys des Atomos Systems (nur kompatibel mit den neun Master Caddy II). Die Schreib/ Lesegeschwindigkeit beträgt an einem Mac Pro 360 MB/s (gegenüber 250 MB/s an der Atomos Bridge). Der Reader passt ausserdem in bestimmte RAIDs von G-Technology (G-Speed Shuttle) und lässt sich daher gut in einen Film Workflow einbinden. Im gleiche Format gibt es noch Reader für Fast 2.0 und RED MINI-MAG.

More expensive than the others but super solid, fast and no broken downloads. If you plan to use this for work, buy it. I bought mine after two Startech fails. Had Atomos reader too. The G Raid has a more solid connection, dust cover, etc.

some months ago, I got an Atomos Recorder and needed a way to work with my videos for the HDD Master Caddy of the Atomos Recorder, so I got this Slide into ev Series Reader Atomos Caddy Edition from G-Technology, transfer files using ev Series RAID & Desktop Systems is another new level in video production,so I believe its worth the price and a good price too.
