Lo uso con l'iPhone 13 Pro / iPad Pro 11 e l'Apple Watch quando sono in viaggio. Lo trovo perfetto per i seguenti motivi:

- l'uscita USB-C da 18W è compatibile con lo standard PD 3.0, consentendo pertanto la ricarica rapida sia dell'iPhone che dell'iPad e di qualsiasi altro device compatibile power delivery. Questo è molto utile nei viaggi in cui magari, a metà giornata, si fa un salto in albergo e si desidera ricaricare velocemente il proprio device*.

- l'uscita USB-A è comunque molto potente (arriva a 2.4A, quindi 12W), consentendo di ricaricare velocemente anche vecchi tablet o altri device. Inoltre, per l'Apple Watch che richiede solo 5W, è più che sufficiente. Attenzione, non risponde agli standard Quick Charge, pertanto a differenza della porta PD 3.0, lavora solo a voltaggio fisso (5V). Per me non è un problema, per chi vuole una USB-A QC deve cercare altro.

- le due uscite sono utilizzabili contemporaneamente alla loro massima potenza complessiva (30W). Ebbene sì, ci sono parecchi caricatori dual (USB-A / USB C) sul mercato, ma molti di essi non accettano la ricarica simultanea OPPURE lo fanno ma riducendo notevolmente la potenza individuale per ogni porta. Questo caricatore consente l'utilizzo simultaneo di entrambe le porte a 18W PD USB-C e 12W USB-A. Ecco anche il motivo delle dimensioni più grandi rispetto ad altri caricatori apparentemente analoghi. Se fosse GAN, sarebbe più piccolo certamente, ma per un alimentatore duale "tradizionale" da 30W, le dimensioni sono assolutamente normali.

- è un Otterbox, azienda seria e affidabile, pertanto il prodotto ha una buona componentistica e tutte le protezioni necessarie sul circuito di controllo

- l'ho testato sia con la lettura da device (su iMazing) che con tester USB ed effettivamente le potenze indicate sono vere (testato con iPad Pro su porta C e iPhone 13 Pro su porta A, tra l'altro l'iPhone a 12W e 5V si ricarica molto velocemente, non come su porta PD 3.0, ma comunque bene).

*Personalmente, sconsiglio l'uso della ricarica rapida laddove non necessaria, perché degrada maggiormente la batteria nel tempo. Ciò premesso, resta una funzione molto comoda e utile in vari contesti, e se non usata esclusivamente o con frequenza elevata, l'impatto sulla batteria è minimo.
