This is complete garbage. When the label maker stops, it leaves a black line across the label, (where the roller sits), and the tape doesn't stick to anything.

I've gotten other 3rd party brand labels before and it's been fine. This one is trash.

I have used dymo labelers for years for labelling industrial pipes and electric panels. Over the years the quality of their labels has really gone downhill, and lately their selection of labels has really dropped off too. Since specific colors and sizes of labels are needed to meet compliance standards, we have always used a dymo XTL and dymo Rhino printers. I know with the pandemic everything is harder to get now but dymo lists many of their labels as discontinued.

Fortunately, there are several companies that sell compatible labels. I was hesitant to try these for two reasons. I was concerned the labels would not stick well enough, and that they would fade quickly and no longer be the required colors. So far after almost a year of being in use these labels have held up great.

They print and cut just as well as the dymo brand. We have used these in several rhino models and a labelwriter 450 duo with no problems. The adhesive holds just as well and so far, there has been no significant fading indoors and only minor fading outdoors, about the same as the dymo labels.

With dymo discontinuing many labels we use we were ready to switch to another brand printer, but as long as we can get these compatible labels we will continue to use the rhino printers. Now, if only they made a better selection of the XTL labels. There is a good chance we will be selling our xtl 500 printer this month and replacing it with another brand that has a better selection.
