    Sensor goes right in. Pick up a small 1/4 inch wrench and Torx 20 bit to remove the two screws no problem. Don’t forget to push the plastic tab so the old sensor is released before prying it out. No replacement hardware with the new sensor, but that’s pretty standard these days. Car runs with no error code upon initial installation. Will update if part doesn’t last.

    Caused the trans to not shift right, it would downshift way too soon especially at higher speed. It had an incorrectly calibrated threshold and the computer would not properly sense the accelerator position.
    A genuine Mopar one fixed it right up for $57 it was just like flipping a switch.
    Don’t complicate your life, buy OEM.
    This really caused me a major headache and quite a few bucks by causing new problems while I tracked down a stalling issue.

    My Jeep wouldn’t shift into overdrive when I got it up to higher speeds. After checking online for what the problem might be I decided to try swapping out this sensor. Those stupid clips that Chrysler uses broke while taking the old one off of course, but I got the new on and the shifting problem was immediately fixed. I’ve had it now for about 6 weeks and it’s still working well. If it breaks in the near future then I’ll update the review. Very good price, I just hope it lasts.

    Replaced the throttle position sensor after mine started throwing a trouble code. This is an OEM-quality replacement for the factory unit...the build quality is equal to the original. Replacement is straightforward; remove the harness cable (don't forget the red locking clip), remove 2 torx screws (careful...they are most likely slightly corroded and are prone to stripping out if you don't take your time), remove the old unit, and replace with the new. Replaced and reset the codes, and all is good; no issues to date ...3 months and counting.
