These bulbs are so white, bright, visible and light up the road so well, that I highly recommend these bulbs to everyone. The only bulbs I've found to be brighter are the PIAA Super GTX bulbs, but they are also nearly twice the price. I have tried dozens of bulbs over the years and these are absolutely the best bang for your buck. PIAA is pricey and a bit brighter and the GP Thunder are very cheap and appear to be very white and bright when you look at them, but on the road where I live (lots of deer and wildlife and no streetlamps at all) they are not worth even the the cheap price. Phillips has found the perfect balance and I will buy these for my brand new Veloster when the bulbs burn out. They are quite impressive.

Right away I need to say: people who think that these will automatically be "better" than this or that should not be paid attention to.

These are very blue; very similar to 5000k (a little closer to 5250-5500k depending on your cars reflector housing) and are not the farthest casting lights that you will find. They cast a very direct beam of soft but bright blue light very widely for high beams, and light up the sides of the road more than most others- they don't use all of their energy lighting the tops of trees 30 feet up.

Street signs half a mile away will have a visible brightening in their shine, which is pretty standard.

What these are REALLY good for is seeing animals in the street. Instead of blending into the yellow of standard headlights, the blue of these beams very clearly illuminates the colors of animals versus pavement or trees- deer, raccoons, cats, dogs, you name it, they're obvious. (In fact, that's the reason I got them, I would have just grabbed a Opt7 LED High beam if I had wanted more brightness, as I'm not looking to change to HID xenon.)

Finally I got some what white light on my car with DRL/High beam combined installation. I have tried HID and LED (6000k) before, but because my vehicle use same high beam light with low voltage (6v DC) to use as DRL, I was not able to get HID and LED lights to work on my 2008 Lexus Rx400h.

Philips - Diamond Vision is much brighter. It is not bright as 5000k as it claims, but I would say it is definitely more than 4000k range. Way better than stock 2700k yellowish light.

If you are looking for 'white' light, these work well for that purpose. However, from vision perspective, they are quite lacking. Light output at night is very poor, would not recommend these as primary low beam lights. These were used as primary low/high beam on 2015 Range Rover Evoque. Compared to factory lights, visibility at night was cut in 1/2, and these bulbs lasted 2 months before one of them burning out. Actually burned through the glass, creating a hole into the bulb glass itself. Great for looking white, but fail miserably as actual headlights.

Very dissatisfied with this product as compared to order for same part from Amazon 2 years ago.

See included photo, the 2019 design is left, 2021 design on right.

It seems that the product production has been moved from Europe to China and slight design changes lead to warmer color and poor beam alignment compared to same product sold in 2019. Previous version has sharp centered beam pattern like OEM but whiter color. 2021 version has unfocused beam pattern and warmer color.

Given the sketchiness of Amazon regarding sellers and authentic parts, maybe these are not actually Phillips bulbs, but inferior aftermarket parts? Or maybe Phillips quality has gone down.

The product works, but not well.

Perfect fit and function. This is a direct replacement for my Highbeam/DRL light. Provides good color temperature to my LED lights.
In my 2014 Subaru Forester XT I was able to easily remove and replace the existing bulb. The bulb casts a bluish light which is appealing to the eye. High beam coverage is greatly improved and for my objective I was able to get a whiter light temperature to better match my LED lights that were already installed.

Habe mir die DiamondVision von Philips als Fernlicht zugelegt, damit die Lichtfarbe zu meinem Xenon Abblendlicht passt. Die Lichtfarbe ist sehr kaltweiß/bläulich, fast schon zu blau. Es ist auf jeden Fall blauer als mein Xenonlicht. Allerdings sind diese Glühlampen trotz 65W fast schon zu dunkel, also wer gutes Fernlicht haben möchte, dem rate ich die Philips BlueVisionUltra zu nehmen. Habe diese auch im Auto meinr Freundin verbaut, habe also den direkten Vergleich. Die sind zwar nicht ganz so bläulich aber wesentlch heller. Wer nur auf die Lichtfarbe Wert legt, für den sind die DiamondVison genau das richtige, allerdings mit 37€ pro Paar auch nicht ganz billlig. Aber sie sind von Philips made in Germany und nicht irgend ein Fernost oder USA Ramsch.
