Our Vornado fan D knob broke off. Got this set to replace the knob. The set seems to offer a bunch of sizes but there are only 2 sizes: too big or too small. I got the adaptor to fit on the Vornado D switch stem but couldn't get the new knob to fit onto the adaptor. What the hell?! Decided not to risk damaging the fan by applying too much pressure so left the adaptor on with no knob. We can turn it on/off. But Goofy set up. Look for something else.

There are various stems available of different lengths. Each fits the knobs in the kit. Each stem has a cog to fit the knobs. This means that the knobs are adjustable to the position relative to the stem; and in turn the pointer is very likely compatible with whatever device you use.

For me, it was a second hand air conditioner. It took a long stem but now works perfectly. It will probably work with my oven as well. I bought it second hand. The temperature is about 45 degrees off. A stem and knob for it will probably set it right. Recommended for such applications.
