My HP S01-2023W desktop showed a max capacity of 8 GB memory. Crucial's website said the slim series desktops MAY be able to take 16GB so I gave it a whirl. I snapped the memory in place, started the computer & the 16Gb memory was recognized and is working flawlessly. This is such a simple upgrade & it takes absolutely NO skill to do. I also tossed an additional hard drive into the computer with another operating system while I was at it and that works properly with this memory, too.

I'm a Mac geek so this Windows computer is only used for embroidery digitizing & sign software but the upgrade stopped the endless spinning "thinking" wheel I was constantly getting.

I never have any issues with standard Crucial RAM, and it's my go to choice when upgrading a laptop or advising clients who are upgrading their systems. No frills or RGB lights, just consistent performance and reliability at a decent price. I recommend getting a nice screwdriver set for computers to go along with these for the installation process.

Have had this RAM in multiple (20+) Synology NAS units running the Intel Celeron x64 CPU (DS420+ - 1520+). Want to point out specifically that I'm talking about the Celeron CPU because I've not tested on the AMD CPU. Maybe it works with AMD too, I DON'T KNOW.

Cheap, easy RAM upgrade. I have some Synology units running 4+ years now under constant load working perfectly with this ram. While Synology does have OEM RAM and warranties it, if you do not have such stringent warranty and data integrity needs, or budget, and just want to increase your NAS memory, this RAM works.

A instalação no slot foi bem simples de fazer, porém encontrei um problema com o Windows, que se recusava a incializar após eu inserir a memória nova. Fui descobrir que era uma reclamação de paridade do próprio Windows mesmo, pois os slots de RAM do meu laptop estavam com 16 x 8, e o recomendado é sempre ser duas memórias de capacidades iguals, 8x8, 16x16, etc. Após configurar o Windows para aceitar a configuração 16x8, ele inicializou normalmente, e desde então, não tive mais problemas.
