6n1p-ev its enhanced version of 6n1p tube These are excellent Soviet era preamp tubes. The 6N1P-EV is coming more popular as more amplifier brands are using them for their rich tone with high gain, comparable to the 6DJ8, 6922 or 6AQ8. While they aren't a drop-in replacement for most circuits, they will work in some 6DJ8 circuits but check with your manufacturer first. These have silver shields which makes them highly sought after. These are also extremely reliable, built to Soviet military specifications. NOTE: The 6N1 filament draw is 600ma. This may not work as a direct replacement for that reason. 6N1P-EV Double miniature triode with increased durability, reliability and mechanical strength. Designed to amplify low frequency voltage. Durability not less than 5000 hours. Weight no more than 15 g.
