This disease has seriously a#ected poultry and other related industries. There are several constraints on the disease control in this region. However, activities have been enhanced to overcome these constraints under the cooperation with international organizations and donor countries. Development of harmonized control strategies is required taking account of active movements of people and commodities across the country borders in this region.
