CJHS Boys & Girls Cross Country Teams Host Redbird Invite

The CJHS boys and girls cross country runners had a great day Tuesday as they hosted the Redbird Invite.
CJHS runners Raegan Cunningham, Kynleigh Grisham and Bryson Aaron were all recognized before the meet on “8th Grade Day.”
On the girls side, three schools and 18 runners competed, but team scores were not recorded. West Frankfort’s Raegan Cunningham finished first in a time of 14:37. The next top four runners for the Lady Redbirds are as follows:
Joan Raby- 2nd (15:10)
Abbi Morris- 5th (16:37)
Kynleigh Gresham- 6th (17:48)
Rylee Thomason- 11th (19:50)
On the boys side, four schools and 34 runners competed, but team scores were not recorded. West Frankfort’s Bryson Aaron placed 1st in a time of 11:39. The next top four runners for the Redbirds are as follows:
Xavier Cuevas- 2nd (12:30)
Jayden Moss- 6th (13:31)
Camden Roach- 7th (13:33)
Braxton Melvin- 8th (13:35)
